My name is Rebecca Ciez. I’m originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but have been living in New York for the past three years while I complete my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. While at Columbia, I have also pursued minors in Economics and Sustainable Engineering. In addition to ASME, I have also been involved in Engineers Without Borders, Society of Women Engineers, and the Columbia Advance Leadership program. My technical areas of interest are heat transfer and thermodynamics, and I hope to transfer those skills to a career in energy systems in the future.
