President | Eric Soltowski

My name is Eric Soltowski, I have lived half of my life on the island of Guam (US Citizen) and half of it in Texas. At the moment I am studying mechanical engineering at because I love to design; I enjoy learning how machines work, as well as learning how to utilize the fundamental principles directing them. My dream in life is to create a new or a significantly improved form of prolusion, and new type of structure to withstand the stress of the engine. Currently I am focusing my degree in graduate level electives in Thermodynamics, Turbomachinery, Propulsion, and research in the Wave Disc Engine under Professor Pejman Akbari. After graduating from Columbia University and a graduate school, I plan to help society with technological advancement. For my career goals, I hope to work as an engineer at a firm focusing on research, design, and acquisitions. My goals revolve around developing new and more efficient technology in both the civilian and military sector. My past background lies heavily in the manufacturing and production sector: stemming from my past work with Toyota and the Carleton Strength of Materials Laboratory.
