Emissions of PCDD/Fs from Municipal Solid Waste Incinerators in China - Recently there have been demonstrations against WTE in some parts of China. A top quality technical paper shows that six WTEs in China have dioxin emissions lower than the EU standard. But, unfortunately, some others emit dioxins at levels SIXTY times higher than the average dioxin concentration of U.S. WTEs. Such plants give a bad name to all WTEs in China and elsewhere.
