Resources for Chairs
Department chairs play a critical leadership role in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. They are in a pivotal position to influence every aspect of our teaching, research, and service missions. In addition, department chairs are central to the schools efforts to enhance the diversity and climate of the campus for our students, staff, and faculty. In order to succeed at these tasks, it is important to have certain fundamental information about how the university works and for chairs to be familiar with the resources that are available to help them in their leadership role.
This webpage provides helpful links to important campus offices, policies, programs and other resources of interest to and in support of chairs of academic departments. The page is a work in progress and suggestions for improvements are invited.
