The Columbia Materials Science and Engineering/Solid State Science and Engineering Department is administered by the Henry Krumb School of Mines. The MSE/SSSE program here at Columbia is highly interdisciplinary and accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
