Starting in the Fall 2008, student members of CUSIAM have held help room hours to assist students with Matlab-specific assignments, research and general problems. In Fall 2009, CUSIAM extended the help room hours to address general and research problems in applied and computational mathematics and related topics.
Time: Friday 2:00 - 3:30pm (Fall 2012)
Venue: 252 Engineering Terrace
Interested in learning about new and diverse problems in applied and computational mathematics? Contact the SIAM board to volunteer to help out with the Help Room and get introduced to topics as diverse as Machine Learning, Optimization, Chemical Kinetics and Econometrics..
