SWE at Columbia welcomes current students, faculty, alumni and SWE professional members to a dinner celebration of SWE's accomplishments in the past year. Fesitivities will include a guest speaker, SWE Points competition results, the new executive board and professional networking. Business casual/semi-formal attire. The Society of Automotive Engineers is sponsoring the next SWE General Body Meeting! Come learn about our upcoming SWE events and opportunities and mingle with Columbia SAE at our next SWE General Body Meeting on Tuesday November 18 at 9PM in the BME Lounge (3rd Floor of Mudd). Yes, there will be plenty of food like last time!

SWE at Columbia welcomes Girl Scout Troop 1271 from Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, and their friends, to the Seeley Mudd Engineering Building at Columbia University for a day of fun and exploration into the world of engineering through hands-on activities and a tour of our facilities. The day will include a welcome from SWE members, a polymer activity in the Biomedical Engineering lab (hosted by the Society for Biomaterials), an activity on the Mechanical Engineering and Physics of roller coasters, lunch and a tour of Columbia's campus. All SWE members, SWE alumni and Columbia Engineering faculty are welcome to attend. 10 SWE Points for attending! Please email Erin at eec2120@columbia.edu if you are interested in helping out/attending.

9:00-9:15 Check in and welcome! - Davis Auditorium, Morris Schapiro/CEPSR building
9:15-10:15 Biomedical Engineering - BME lab, 3rd floor Mudd
10:30-12:30 Mechanical Engineering - 415 CEPSR
12:30-1:00 Tour of lab - ME lab, 2nd floor Mudd
1:00 Lunch! - Carleton Lounge, Mudd
3:00 Tour of Columbia - Columbia University
